Grants

We have grants available to support residents living in the HAVA area and to fund groups/ organisations with ideas of how to improve the area or offer positive experiences for the people who live here. Full guidance notes are available for you to check eligibility. We ask every recipient of a grant to complete an evaluation form so we are able learn about the challenges and successes of the funding.

We are available to help you complete these forms and to discuss any questions you might have. Visit the HAVA office or email / phone us for support. The contact us page has all the details you need.

Grants Eligibilty

Grants are available to individuals / groups who meet the criteria of our themed sub-groups.  These grants are to fund activity of an individal or group which support the improvment of health and wellbeing or education and employment in the HAVA area.

This could be an idea to improve the look of the area; a project to bring people together; to do some sort of activity together; it could be to specifically work with young people, adults or older people. If you have an idea – ask us & we can help you.

We don’t offer these grants in isolation. HAVA offer you the support to find the right course or work experience. We can help you with forms or other paperwork and can put you in touch with other agencies if needed.

We ask for some details on a simple form, which we can help you complete. Below are the crieria for each theme.

How Grants are decided

When you complete your Grant form use the Guidance Notes document to help you or ask at the HAVA office. If your request fits one of our priorities the form will be submitted to the relevant group. This group meet monthly & review all applications & can make a final decision on the  grants in this meeting, or  they may ask for more information. Once this has been satisfied it will go to the next full HAVA Board meeting (monthly) for final approval.

Final Evaluation

When you receive a grant from HAVA, are committing to the terms given in the guidance notes and we will also send you a final evaluation form for completion.
